Set in the state-of-the-art facilities of Bethanien Hospital in Frankfurt am Main, overlooking the rooftops of Bornheim, this experience goes far beyond traditional lectures. You will follow live surgeries directly from the operating theatre below the multimedia training room via HD cameras from multiple angles, and then put your newly acquired knowledge into practice during intensive, closely supervised hands-on sessions using pig jaws. You will work exclusively with premium products from leading manufacturers, including titanium-reinforced PTFE membranes, as well as high-end instruments and osteosynthesis materials.
All of this takes place in a focused yet relaxed and collegial atmosphere, where you will learn techniques you can apply immediately—practical, evidence-based, and sustainable.

Day 1
Theory & Live Surgery
The first day provides you with the fundamental principles of bone augmentation—from bone healing and regeneration to materials and membranes, as well as patient and case selection.
You will also cover perioperative management in depth, including medication protocols, aftercare, and complication prevention.
In the afternoon, a live bone augmentation procedure using a titanium-reinforced PTFE membrane will be performed by Dr. Dr. Laube. The surgery will be broadcast live to the course room and clearly explained for participants through expert commentary.
The day concludes with a shared evening program, offering the opportunity for professional exchange and networking.
Day 2
Hands-On Training & Application
The second day is fully dedicated to practical implementation. You will begin with a live demonstration on a pig jaw, where key steps such as membrane adaptation, screw/pin fixation, flap design, and suturing techniques are demonstrated in detail.
Following this, you will practice the core techniques yourself in intensive hands-on sessions, including PTFE membrane handling, flap management, fixation with screws and pins, and suturing techniques for tension-free wound closure.
The day concludes with an interactive exchange of experience, including discussion and clarification of open questions, before you receive your certificate and CME credits.
